Agnieszka Hauzer Soprano

The young Soprano Agnieszka Hauzer studied voice and music until 2007 at the Fryderyk Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, her home town. She then steadily improved her technique by taking numerous masterclasses with Wieslaw Ochman and Teresa Zylis-Gara.

In 2007 Agnieszka Hauzer won the first price at the international Ada Sari Competition in Nowy Sacz.

Her Repertoire includes operas of Mozart (Pamina|Die Zauberflöte, Donna Elvira and Donna Anna|Don Giovanni, Susanna|Le Nozze di Figaro, Fiordiligi|Così fan tutte), Bizet (Michaela|Carmen), Haydn (Clarice|Il Mondo della Luna) and Contessa|Le nozze di Figaro, as well as numerous arias by Mozart, Dvorak, Puccini, Haendel, Weber, Tchaikowsky, Smettana, Leoncavallo, etc.

In October 2008 Agnieszka Hauzer made her debut at the Polish National Opera Warsaw as Marguerite|Faust. During the same season, in April 2009, she received much acclaim for her debut performance as Elisabeth|Tannhäuser in a new production at the Grand Theater in Poznan under the baton of M° Eraldo Salmieri and directed by Achim Thorwald. In the fall of 2009, she returned to Poznan as Elvira|Ernani. In 2011 she performed, amongst others, as Gräfin|Die Hochzeit des Figaro at Stadttheater Gießen.

After her excellent debut as Salome at Kiel opera in 2010-11 season, she now has become a new cast member there. In 2011-12 she made her debut as Giselda|Die Lombardin, then she performed as Elsa|Lohengrin and as Tosca. In 2012-13 Hauzer for example sang Verdi's Requiem in Kiel, she performed as Senta|Der fliegende Holländer and as Donna Elvira.

In 2013-14 she will perform as Senta at Bremen theatre, then in Kiel, amongst others, as Jenufa, the title role of Janácek's homonymos opera, and as Cio-cio-san|Madama Butterfly.
